Casmer
Casmer started out his life as a self-insert tiefling, a blacksmith, who was prepared to be my first ever long-term D&D character. That D&D campaign never ended up happening, but I continued to keep him close.
As I began to explore my gender identity Casmer quickly became not as much of a self-insert as he had started off as. Now he was a transman! And I was very much nothing of the sort. His personality shifted as well, softening around the edges. Now instead of forging weapons he cared for plants, becoming a botanist who studied the forested world he inhabited.
